Painted Block
Painted and Wrapped
......When one needs a quick base for a bunny figure. This is a wood block and has white base paint, marker colors, and a piece of ribbon trim somewhat embellished.

Whatever This Is
I'm not really sure why I drew this?
It was kind of inspired by the sentence "Iulia pulchra erat, sed inimica" ("Julia was beautiful, but unfriendly"), and I guess I also wanted to take a whack at trying some inky shading that wasn't ball point pen scribbles again? Partially referenced from two different Pinterest photos, partially off the top of my head, some hatching attempts, some scribbles, some doodles...It's a mess, yes. This is what I felt like sharing though, I guess. *shrugs*
I'm not really sure what I should be posting here these days...

Late-Night Last-Minute Randomness
Haha, it's really late - I almost forgot to get a post up for the week, because I got distracted trying to figure out file slicing and resizing stuff for uploading limitations on the site I want to use to publish my webcomic. I still don't have the answers and I just need to go to sleep.
Sometimes I feel a little bit smart and sometimes I am quite lost. I can't see why my files are so large, and I will have to find a way to downsize them without affecting the quality as much as possible. No matter that I saved the stuff as JPEG's instead of PNG's, it was still past the limit, even though I created the artwork in the pixel width they recommended. :/
Ah, well. We'll get there, eventually. I hope. Haha! XD

Watercolor 428
Lesson in Steps
Let dry completely.
Add more color.
Let dry completely. Then remove masking.
Then paint lightly in the flowers, with bold centers and a few details.
Loose and fun.
Draw some flowers. Put masking fluid over areas to stay white.
Let dry completely.
Then lightly wet the whole paper.
Add blocks of strong color, with deepest tones next to areas of white that will be the focal point. Have some areas soft colors. Keep the colors pure. Don’t work them.

Entryway Drawing
Life drawing of our entryway closet nook:
Took "artistic license" with it and eliminated much of what was inside, focusing on the coats and a few of the shoes I chose to draw, haha :)
The lighting was showing through the front door window, which you cannot see because of the wall, so idk if that helps with any confusion. In case it was one of those, the-laptop-cover-could-be-facing-either-way optical illusion deals. XD

A sort-of-Copy, for practice. This was actually an earlier number, but got lost in the shuffle.

Thanks to all who wrote comments. Sorry for non-answers to some questions. My to-do lists are longer than my days. Thank you to Sarah Y for her educational posts, and some insights on the times.
