New people bought the farm up the road, so we went to meet them, and got to see the new Dexter cattle and new goat kids.

From Elsewhere
Across the Waters

From Montana, on a very bitterly cold day

He got his elk, almost in his yard.

A colorful place, in many aspects.
Sundry Siblings Shared pictures from their lives, worth sharing further.
From Florida, an egret
From Montana, on a very bitterly cold day

Happy Valentines Day
With Hearts and Hugs

The BEST for Oma and Opa.

On a hibernating day after a snow dump last night.

So we aren’t going anywhere.

From a son over 20 years ago.

From a granddaughter last year.

My studio tree in February finery.

❤️ Happy Valentines Day. Give a hug. Get a hug.
From little ones and loved ones.💝💕

And More
All Blooming

Overnight the other two blooms opened. I now have a burst of scarlet red in my studio.

New Bloom
Look What Opened

Just in time for Valentines Day. This as a gift plant from two Christmases ago. It is very pleasing in the dreary months.

Frosty, Frosty
Cold Again

Water outside froze.

But not in the fountain, because it is always running.

You can see how the retained heat in the rock protected part of the moss from freezing.

It’s all quite pretty, if one’s sap is resistant to being frozen.
The gloom has turned chilly, and everything is covered in frost.
The greenhouse needs its little candle heater to stay above freeezzzzing.

Red, Red Roses
Early, but….

My love’s like a red, red rose
Roses are wonderful anytime, and Valentine’s Day is coming quickly.
My love’s like a red, red rose
That’s newly spring in June;
O my loves’s like the melody
That’s sweetly played in tune.

Happy February
Beginnings

New Sprouts. Leggy, but just for salads. It has been very foggy, so light is low.
