So I have been playing with watercolor flowers, too. I haven't numbered them, but maybe I should start. I think I'm up to about 20...
This is a lettering piece I did yesterday. It felt like everything was going wrong... Not perfection at all, but good practice, and I'm showing it anyway.

With most of these, I have been looking at others' work for ideas. I try to riff off what I see and make it my own. I am just trying to get some loose techniques figured out.
I think I am starting to get it...
After a wintery day yesterday, the sun is shining today. Spring will be here in earnest soon, and I will be out in the garden everyday. Hopefully then I can start painting some real flowers!
I like these, Katie. I especially like your roses. You are thinking about "looseness" much better than I am.
