The only thing I managed to do for derby day is have a preliminary peach mint julep (delicious!) a few days ago. Otherwise, I toured a fort that was destroyed in the civil war between the states and ate championship barbecue. Still waiting on baby!
Interesting, that first face, before it got deep shadows and hair. Made me think of a human version of the imprints birds leave on the glass when they fly into windows.
