You're gonna need an ax for that squash! :-D Those grapes are gorgeous. I just picked a neighbor's grapes and did them up the other night with the help of my boys. It's the yummiest time of year!
I don't know if anyone will see this comment but my farmers market farm friend says the best way to deal with those kind of hard squashes are simply to drop them. They break apart easily. I haven't done it but she swears it works. Watch out for your toes though.
