Mixed Technique
This is not the cross hatching I mentioned last time, but it uses both stippling and my favourite method, scribbling. Controlled scribbling.
|
This is another old work. The subject is Rocky Mountain National Park - hint as to age, a couple of decades, plus. It is done in technical pens, with trees in scribbles and the water in stippling, and a few areas in negative-space-defining. |
|
Notice how the bushes are worked so the shadows are in ink and the bush itself is the negative space. |
|
This one uses all three methods. |
|
This does too, including cross hatching in the flat side of the centre rock. |
Anyone want to try it now?
Incredible.
ReplyDeleteYay, that is SO cool! X)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ladies. Isn't it wonderful what a pen line or dot can do with dome guidance?
