After Thanksgiving, Oma gave me her flower bouquet. “Yes, I do like it.” So for the start of Advent, when Christmas decor comes out of storage, my normal color scheme of purples and silver got rearranged. But it is cheery and bright.
Then, for church today, for the First Sunday in Advent, I did another huge haul of food and decorations and church materials to go from Fall to Christmas-y. Better Half collected some greens for me. I don’t use golds in my house, so they went to the other house, where we meet. And, behold, Advent ambience.
