Conifer Cones

What would you do with them?

I was given these today. They have beautiful shapes. They will be lovely in table arrangements and still-lifes. Other ideas?

    I like painting the tips white adding glitter, tying a string to the bottom, and hanging them from the ceiling.

    Wow, those look like roses! One thing you might do if they have recently been outside is bake them in your oven a bit to kill any residents...
