Here we are alternating between lovely snows and melting rains. Presently we have green again with a warm south wind blowing. Supposedly winter will return next week.We are thankful though for what should be good roads for travellers driving home tomorrow.

This is the last of the Advent series of the names of our Saviour. In our family tomorrow and the next two days, we will have as the theme of our Christmas celebration services further names of our Saviour from the book of Isaiah. It was so refreshing to see the verrrrrrrry long lines in the bookshop - even though I had to stand in one. It means people still value printed words on paper in physical covers.
