Africa 6

HomeAgain

The travelers have returned, safe, but not quite sound. Maria’s hubby was in the hospital with a leg problem for days, so they had to extend their stay. But they got to know the native people there well, and are very impressed and thankful for their kindness and generosity.

The hospital didn’t offer much for pictures, but here are more from the trip.

Making salt, the same way for ages.

“A parasitic fig tree”

Tea fields, from imported stock

Friendly butterflies. They were everywhere.

Creepy crawler?

They penetrated

And discovered exotic creatures.

All is well that ends well.

The End of Uganda Trip.

Africa 3

In the Wilds

A ranger, equipped. He was there to “make sure we didn’t do something stupid, like get too close to a rhino.” Evidently some people do that.

Pick your view….all at the same place.

Mushrooms for supper - it’s OK; the ranger picked them

Critters

Tall

And small

“Pumbas, the dumbest animals in the bush,” according to their tour guide.

More Pumbas
