Oma’s Garden

Early Spring

This is an old, well-established space, that has developed its own patterns and growth (with dime guidance). It is just awakening from winter, with the warming days.

Blooming rosemary.

Primulas in the lawn

Note the dancing butterflies in the middle right side.

No artificial primrose colors here.

Wild violets

Christrosen (Hellebores)

To what we all aspire: established beds, walkways, perennials, old trees, our favorite garden decorations, greens and harmonious colors….

  1. Ooooh!! Thank you for the tour! Please continue to show its development and stages. Primroses in the lawn. That is brilliant! I have many in my beds and have run out of places to put them. I am definitely going to start placing them in the lawn.

  3. The primulas grow wild in lawns, gardens, woods edges, etc. Nobody plants them there, but if you want to naturalize some, it’s a nice look in the spring.
