Other Patches

The quilting lady had random works in various areas of her house. This quilt (sorry about the picture) had a story connected to friendship for each of the six inch squares. So it is a memory quilt. 









This woman started quilting as a girl. Her grandmother and mother were quilters. She has a story of her family home burnt down, and neighbor’s giving them loads of clothes for the child-rich family, and using the worn out scraps for quilts. Nothing wasted.
