Another Intermezzo

Nesting

So, when Somebody likes his window open All The Time, and when a straw hat is conveniently propped on top of a closet, and when no one is in the room most of the time, what does a Haus Rotschwanz do? Build a nest in said hat on the armoire, of course. We had been wondering why we had those little birds so frequently in the house.

But we didn’t really want a brood of nestlings raised on the closet, and sometimes we have to close the windows, albeit briefly, for rain, birds are rather messy on dressers and carpets, so out went the nest to the pear tree that climbs the wall very close to the inviting window. We hope Mama Redtail carries on there.
