The nearby town of Porrentruy has a castle, a real one with walls, towers and a courtyard. We went to visit.
These days, after it wasn’t needed for defense, and after use as an orphanage and such, it now has government offices and the local prison (in the tower no less).
It has rose gardens in the courtyard.

One is welcome to go up into the tower. At least one of us did not.
