After we marbled our pages yesterday, we had a fine grill supper outside for the holiday, under a big umbrella because it was raining. We were happy about the rain, because it cooled things off a bit and we stayed dry. It has been miserably hot for too long. But then we had to get busy assembling the pages we had decorated. Each made a book. We organised and assembled pages, sewed signatures together, adorned our cover boards with marbled paper, and bound the pages inside. Each had a handmade book to take home this morning when she left.

Each had her own book. (Mine isn't finished yet.) |
