So we did, on Saturday. The day was perfect.

Hot and  tired, but water pans are set out for dogs accompanying hikers. 

Fresh, local fish.

Rides for tourists. 

And the sun shone down…

This is the chapel in the rocks with the cold springs of healing waters. Lower right, in photo below.

With a tiny cemetery.

And a little stone man in a hat.

And clear, clear views.

Lake Lucerne below (Vierwaldstättersee)

And the cross of many family memories. 

And many yellow Enzien in bloom. (The roots are used to make a bitter Schnapps.)

And others of the family were in Grindelwald.

And the newlyweds are in Croatia.
