In a little square in the little town was a little shop, with no one in it. Then we went in. Local produce was arrayed for purchase - on the honor system. Write down on the list what you buy, put your money in the box and take what change you need.  So we did.

All around the town were summer floral decorations.

This is the entrance to the little on-your-honor shop.

While this is not a flower per se, look at that floral handwriting! It was an entry in the hotel guest book.

Tucked in back of the hotel and town was a gorgeous garden. It was open for  strolling or sitting or sipping  or  savouring cake or glaces.

In the very back were two very, very enormous Sequoia trees.

You would fit comfortably in that front niche, with lots of room for all your friends around the base of that tree.
