Rose Garden

Last week we went to the rose garden in the city (and the Japanese garden nearby as well, but it would be too many pictures for one post, so I'll try to share about that next week). The flowers smelled lovely, and it was so fun to walk through the garden.

This red bush made me think of Alice in Wonderland, where the card-soldiers were painting the white roses red.

I would definitely come back. Maybe with a book or a sketchbook.

  1. This place is absolutely gorgeous. I can imagine the scents. The colours are glorious. A sketchbook with colours is definitely called for.

    1. They were wonderful -- and the garden was free to visit, you just had to brave the city traffic and pay for parking haha

  3. Sorry, Pam. I hit something and it took your response away. But I definitely like the idea of visiting the gardens with sketchbook in hand.
