Yesterday was August 1st, Swiss National Day 731. It was very quiet, because fireworks were forbidden due to the dryness here and fire danger.
But flags flew and fluttered.
We have had some downpours, despite the general dryness. The skies get interesting.
And starting this weekend we are going on a summer trip, so, if internet is generally available, I hope to post photos here. Think The Silk Road lands on the western end, now crumbling and old, but with lots of history.
