Some Final Projects (& stationary)

Here's my finished project for Drawing 101! It seems like I took forever on this. Like I said, it was the perfectionist inside me which made it kinda difficult. But this will do. I can safely say it looks kinda good.  
 

  

 This is my final for Figure Drawing 101. I really don't like taking pictures and showing people unfinished work, but ta-da. This still needs so much work and tweaking. Such as contrast, and also I still think her leg looks weird, and a bit of other stuff. So this is maybe halfway done. I hope it turns out good in the end, though.

 This is my project in Color Pencil class. I love eyes. I have actually made a smaller eye with color pencil a while ago. This project just needs a few more details, and then it is finished! I think it looks pretty good when it's very far away rather than close up.

Here are a few of my completed projects:

This drawing of the girl with her mom was fun and challenging. I have trouble with wrinkles, but I think I pulled these off fairly successfully. The faces went a little wonky, though. For the background, I used the side of the pencil tip and worked in circles, pressing lighter toward the middle. The darker areas I intensified with an ebony pencil.

The animal drawing was hard to do with all the light-colored fur. I also stretched the width somehow, and I don't know if the shadows worked right. The kitten's whiskers I had to put in with the eraser, something I haven't really done before.

 

The cooking girl is for Anime class. We drew out the basics from our reference with the help of a grid, outlined in ink, then colored with pencils. My cousins showed me the game Harvest Moon when I was younger, and I've had a nagging fascination for the Japanese Manga style ever since. But it seems most of what's out there is pretty much downright repulsive, so I'm kind of toying with the idea of contributing some more wholesome stories to the manga genre if I can get better at the style. There are a few adapted classics (like Pride and Prejudice, Les Miserables, etc.) of which I've read a couple, and those are kind of fun.

These are some stationary pages I drew last week. I should have started them another week earlier, but we can't go back in time. Haha. I found some references on Pinterest and went to town with my pen, even though I have not really tried to draw detailed flowers in pen before. It was fun, and I kind of surprised myself. They're supposed to be carnations, my Mom's favorite flower, but I don't know if you can tell.
