Stippling
As mentioned previously, here is a sample of a drawing done wholly in stipple. The size of the dots is dependant on the pen nib size (I was using technical pens and prefer .03 - .05 for most work). The closeness of the spacing makes the area look either light or dark.

ReplyDeleteI remember your stippling works and the patience you used is astounding. It is interesting to me to reflect on your artistic evolution through the years. These detailed ink works led you to where you are today, employing a looser, freer style.
Actually, I still like doing stippling, but haven't had time for it. I like quite a variety of styles, which is something of a No-No in a world of specialization.
