Yesterday was the birthday of a relative, a lovely lady, in the winter of her years, but still very bright and active. Some family were going north for the celebration, so I did a quick small acrylic painting as a "birthday card" for the occasion.

"All seasons of life are beautiful." Note progression from front of painting to distance and upward  from spring to summer to fall to winter to the light in the end.
