Fondue and Pie

Well, Ladies, I had no time for art work today. How about you? Maria said she did some more knitting on her next socks, which I heartily cheer. She has snow piled around her little house, and knitting seems to suit that - I'd say.

I do have a couple of art things in progress, but today was Sunday family day, with one son returning in the afternoon from a trip, with Maria coming home for dinner and church, and with requests for lemon meringue pie. That was my creativity for today - plus a cheesecake with blueberries.

Dinner, by request of Thom, was fondue, with accompaniments. Stef suggested an additional small pot of "pizza fondue" with tomatoes and seasoning and such added to the cheese. It was good. For a snowy and blowy day, what is better than fondue and wine and conversation and pie?

There is piece left for you.

  1. Yummy! Sounds wintery.

I brought my fun little grandson home with me after church while all the men (young and old including his daddy) worked on a shed they are building behind the church and his mommy went shopping. After Titus's nap and lunch we read books and played until all came home and then it was---pizza-- because that's what we eat on Sundays around here.

It's spring here but seems to be winter every where else.

  2. Sounds like a lovely day.Pizza on Sunday evenings, usually with popcorn, was a tradition for us growing up, too. Enjoy the grandson - such a blessing.
By the way, the snow melted around us, but still covers the higher ground.

  4. Hello Michelle! You are welcome for dinner any day - or breakfast - with or without bringing Kambucha and peanut butter.
